I installed koreader on my remarkable2, and it's now easily the best reading experience for manga and textbooks that I know of. I just swipe on the side of the screen once to switch back and forth, it's _so_ great. There's no problem with that setup for standard books too, I just usually prefer a smaller/crappier ereader (ideally also with koreader) for that type of reading.
