- diogenescynic 3y agoOur government is pathetically incompetent or an accomplice to this brazen theft. No wonder people want to shrink the government. I rarely see the government address anything in a way that actually helps—-invading Iraq and Afghanistan after 9/11, Obamacare, everything related to COVID, cash for clunkers… it’s all a grift or incompetent. Usually it’s a bandaid solution or something that actively makes the problem worse. Maybe we should drown the government in a bathtub. If I had my taxes back, I could actually afford a house and I don’t think my taxes are spent fairly or wisely anyways.

- hnaccountme 3y agoThis is normal. Most aid given to developing countries are stolen by fraudsters. There will always be people looking to exploit the vulnerable and the ignorant.
