I've lost track of what they're working on? I guess they're working on re-launching paid verification, but I think last I heard they were in a code freeze. I assume he must be working on developing a cohesive vision, or he thinks he can execute on the X app without one. Seems like he would need a strong Chief Product Officer and strong CEO.
- GartzenDeHaes 4y agoFrom the Washington Post, "Musk has secured $500 million from the crypto exchange Binance to finance his new acquisition and hired influential Andreesen Horowitz crypto investor and former Twitter executive Sriram Krishnan to come back to Twitter as part of his new team." Seems pretty clear what direction Mr Doge Coin is going.

- dekhn 4y agoMy guess is that Elon went to china and saw some everything apps there, and is 100% convinced that there is a way to turn twitter into that, and that will lead to an explosion in use of everything app in the US, causing twitter revenue to explode. While I do think there are some market opportunities in the US (and around the world) for new types of sites with more features than just "social media" but the path that Musk is following is extremely unlikely to give him the opportunity to be a lead player in that evolution. He consistently takes actions that lead to him not being able to achieve his goals.
