Idiot. He easily could have found one of many groups nationwide who know exactly how to fix these batteries for a fraction of the price. There are numerous YouTube videos featuring various places that know how to do this now.

      It is not the owner of the car that is getting the adverts money, but rather the youtube streamer (and their company?) that do. The car owner did get some screen fame, got to experience an explosion, and if they bought a sport car then they might not care too much about the potential money for selling the chassis.

  Not only that, the battery pack and drivetrain ware removed prior to blowing it up. Notice how there's no burning batteries in the video. This is mentioned in the Beyond The Press's video, but not in the one by Pommijätkät.

> nationwide Which nation? The guy's in Finland. Though they have so many EVs this should've been a possibility too. They have already had a third party replacement however and may have opted to not get another this time due to the bad experience.
