- carlmr 6y agoI can't find the frame rate, what is it?

- IshKebab 6y agolooks about 10 FPS to me which is indeed very good for e-ink.
- worldsayshi 6y agoI don't understand why there's not more investment into transreflective LCD technology like pixel qi since no one seems to be able to bring down e ink prices. Pixel qi allows passive lighting in grey scale while also allowing colour with active lighting. And higher frame rate than e ink while still having low power consumption thanks to passive lighting ability. Edit: Found an interesting article on the fate of pixel qi and some other alternatives to e-ink: https://goodereader.com/blog/electronic-readers/the-rise-and-fall-of-pixel-qi-how-it-shaped-the-e-reader-revolution https://goodereader.com/blog/electronic-readers/the-rise-and...
