ASML's revenue has tripled since 2007 - [0]. Stock price increased ten fold. I'm sure they don't complain about how things turn out for them thanks to the proliferation of mobile devices after iPhone.

- amelius 6y ago> I'm sure they don't complain about how things turn out for them Apple also shouldn't complain, but still they let the consumer pay twice: once for the phone, and then the tax.
- wil421 6y agoHow is the consumer paying twice? I don’t pay a different price for an in-app purchase vs a direct purchase.
- c0nducktr 6y agoCan app developers charge 30% more for subscriptions done through the app store vs those done through their own payment methods? If not, you're likely paying for it, due to the increased average cost to deliver the service/product.

- mvanbaak 6y agoThe tax is not about the phone. It's about the in-app or app-store app purchase. Totally different thing. Please educate yourself about what things are before making wrong statements like this.
