Oh, I think they'll be way better, measurably so, than fortune tellers from the past. Which is the problem. The error rate will still be meaningful but as the error rate gets smaller the dismissal of edge cases will grow more likely. "The system proves that your online behavior is indicative of a mass murderer. Take him away boys."

Exactly my worst nightmare for AI. And you are probably right about their error rates and the comparison with fortune tellers was just a way to cope.
