The #DreamItPitch Contest: $1400 for the best 140 character startup pitch
- megamark16 17y agoThat's an extreme elevator pitch right there. I tried, but I don't think it comes across very well. On the other hand, less is often better.
- epi0Bauqu 17y ago#dreamitpitch New search engine with better results and less garbage. Better results through zero-click Info, official sites, and more. #dreamitpitch A book that demystifies how businesses get traction. Made up of interviews with successful entrepreneurs and investors.
- joezydeco 17y ago#dreamitpitch Sucker twitter users into giving us ideas for free and toss a grand to one of them.
- epi0Bauqu 17y agoSeems a bit harsh. I don't think they're out there looking for ideas to steal.
- lambda 17y agoRight, because your 140 character idea is worth so much money. Good, succinct pitches are useful, but only if you can back it up with real experience, ability, hard work, and a good dose of luck.
- anigbrowl 17y agoIf your entire business idea can be summed up in 140 characters it's probably not that special. The idea of a pitch is to hook people's interest, not give away all your IP.
- lpolovets 17y agoYou can use the ideas for free too. http://twitter.com/search?q=%23dreamitpitch http://twitter.com/search?q=%23dreamitpitch
- barnaby 17y agoConsidering that ideas are expensive, I'd say they're getting shafted. Publicity however is valuable, and $1400 is a small price to pay for the traffic they're getting.
- lambda 17y agoEr, you pitch can't be 140 characters if "#dreamitpitch " is taking up 14 of them.
