This is the sad reality behind much of content creation nowadays. Don't be fooled. It's always been this way. In fact, there was a time when content creators didn't get rich at all. If they were lucky they made a living,

So, basically like every other artform. Be it indie music, indie movies, or various physical artforms, unless you win the lottery by hitting it big (of which a significant factor is pure luck), you ain't gettin' rich. Is this surp

Let's set aside the claim that stating an argument can be "sexually abusive"--I can't express how ridiculous that is--and cut to the core of your argument, which, if I may, can be summarized as follows: When it comes t

If it were truly a sexist culture as was claimed then you wouldn’t be seeing these testimonials. Fascinating. One group of women saying the culture in Uber is corrosive? Well that's rumour and innuendo. But another group of women sa

Yes: the reason they bring it up is that the issue provides a powerful moralistic cudgel against Assange, a threat to their business model. Oh this is just beyond ridiculous. They bring it up because people's lives were put at risk

J2ME is nowhere near being hard real-time. ...and? Believe it or not, not every embedded application has a hard real-time requirement. You're just moving the OP's goalposts to make a point, here.

How does Idris' Java compatibility compare? Simply compiling to the JVM is nice, but unless it can cleanly interoperate with the rest of the Java ecosystem, it simply cannot take the place of something like Scala.

If, by "rendering engine", you mean the full instance of Chromium being run to drive the app... the full instance of Chromium that nothing else on your machine shares... yeah, I guess you could say it's the rendering engine.
