A caterpillar is not a bug. It is not institutionally recognizable as "bug" to me. A bug is a beetle or cockroach. I strongly suspect it's related to my first language being German, which maps "bug" and "beetle

Okay, deep breath, this will be unpleasant. 1. Do you ban creators for "hate speech"? 1b. If yes: What is "hate speech"? 2. Will you ban creators for content published outside your platform? (e.g. erotic content publi

That's arguing about semantics. It seems obvious from context that the intended interpretation of "the correct answer" is "the only true answer" — since "true" and "correct" are nearly synonymous

Abuse signals, as determined by a machine learning system that is a complete mystery to even its creators. But that's beside the point. Losing the ability to receive email is not something that should ever happen under any circumstance

There's the theoretical legal interpretation, and then there's the precedent for how google have traditionally enforced their rules. And they have been absolutely ruthless. Banning your family and everyone who ever logged in from

There are unofficial projects that combine the drivers from IoT with the "full" ARM32 version of Win10. I tried it and it did boot, but on a pi 3B it was too slow to be usable. I'd want at least a pi 4B 2GB before trying agai

Anim8 seems to be the closest thing to classic Flash animation, albeit without the interactive component. However, I'm a little disappointed that it seems to output in MP4. Is there really no modern format for vector video?

Youtube has no interactivity within videos. There used to be a little bit of it with annotations, but those were killed off ages ago. Compare that to Flash video series like Homestar Runner, every episode had little Easter eggs where you co

Did Apple change their stance on compilers? It used to be forbidden for the longest time, then they allowed it strictly for educational purposes. It'd be strange if Apple would release Xcode for iPad that doesn't allow creating iP

Since when are these companies "content creators"? They operate platforms such as Twitch and YouTube that the content creators use, but you wouldn't call Wal-Mart an "electronics manufacturer".

It's not an iPhone thing. It's entirely on your carrier whether or not to enable it on a new SIM.

While there have been a few very scary hacks that could compromise a currently-unlocked-and-running SIM, I don't think there is anything you can do to a powered-down SIM without the PIN.

A SIM card has its own PIN, completely independent from the phone's pin. If I put my SIM in someone else's phone, it will ask for my PIN, even when they don't have a PIN set.

Unless it says "Sold by: Amazon.com", Amazon isn't party to the contract. DHL doesn't get to know what is in the package they deliver, so why should Amazon be entitled to that information?
