i belive (s)he’s talking about facebook, who’s system has been built for its free users. oculus is just something that they have added later on, without taking time and money to adapt it for the (small number of) paying users.

I have a different opinion regarding Altavista search results quality. The results were so bad that most of the times I had to also try Hotbot, Ask Jeeves and various directories (Yahoo, dmoz, etc). They were not good search engines but the

i would ask what is their opinion regarding overtime. it’s a good measure of toxicity if overtime is expected (excluding emergencies), whether it is paid or not.

let me come back to you with a question: do you have an example where this works? being hackable means exactly the opposite of stability: you can change low level features and break things. if there is a chance to do it, people can be trick

how is this news? it was announced when iphone x has been launched that the face id checks whether you look on the phone or not in order to not lock yor phone while in use. it is not a picture, it trackes your eyes.

that's not the problem, you can easily expand the url with curl (it will probably be a redirect) and manually remove the parameters. the problem is that it is not obvious to you that the link contains personally identifiable informatio

your answer doesn’t make any sense in this context. this is a standard whatsapp feature that can not be turned off. you can disable networking and open whatsapp and that flag will not be sent, but also your conversations won’t get updated.

Same in Romania. I think it was somewhere around 1997, they changed that once people started having multiple 2-3 seconds calls. I still wonder what was the reason for that free window, was it a technical limitation?
