What do you think is a mistake Tesla is currently making? I may agree with you in part, but overall your tone is just so overwhelmingly positive it makes me curious where you have dissonance?

Not really sure where to start, but 1) CRISPR's altering doesn't necessarily only alter one gene, and 2) altering one gene doesn't necessarily alter "hundreds of other genes" either.

And what do you think that will do tactically? It doesn't diminish the intrinsic geopolitical positions of both nation-states. Both countries, honestly, should be "fine" without the same levels of trade we've had in the

Source for your claims? Intel, as far as I know, only let people go because they've been diminished due to ARM and Cisco with smartphone processors. What is this new CPU from China? China is quite publicly known to be years behind the

Let's not forget that China has blocked access to its market for US Technology companies for the last 10 years. This is not China playing the same card. This is China playing aggressively, as they have been. It's a smart strategy,

While this looks impressive, I think "programming a book" is still too tricky for authors. Repeating syntax and formatting books is hard, but authors struggle the most with writers block, creating stories, sourcing content for non

My roommate was stabbed on 6th and Folsom at 8PM. He was in the hospital for quite some time. Another guy I know was shot 3 times when someone tried to rob him & he ran. He almost lost his ability to walk. It's a dangerous city.

Resources are finite, as is time. Those are costs. I would disagree that "it doesn't detract from anything else they should be doing." Clearly they aren't solving the important problems. What has been done in the last mo

Correct. I work at Stripe. By the way, this goes almost all-the-way-up. Even people who were former VPs at Google often have the title "Engineering Manager". Sure, they mostly manage other EMs, but it's hard to precisely tell

There are a lot of factors & regulations that make South America uniquely difficult. For example, regulations state that in Brazil the payment processors (like Stripe) cannot pay out funds until 30 days after they are earned. This obvio
