Eli & his team are very smart -- personalized search is incredibly difficult, and very few people actually do it. But realistically speaking, there's not a product out there that wouldn't benefit (as long as the price point is

"Not a competitive business model" is a stretch. You might be right, but you should have pretty high uncertainty about that claim. If driverless tech reduces the delivery cost down 10x, the average consumer might be very willing t

Sure -- just go to tech talks and meetups that are centered around deeper technologies or tech platforms. And when you go, meet people slowly. Don't make it obvious that you're looking for a co-founder. Just ask people why they&#x

Please explain how this is propaganda? Tech has been surging at 8-10% YoY, while the rest of the economy sits closer to 2%.

Very, very few solo founders get into YC. I heard somewhere each batch of companies has about 2 solo founder companies total.

This swiftly changed my perspective on this "mess." It's easy to forget that 1) both disruption & scale always create mess, 2) media thrives on turning mess into outrage, and 3) we're numb to outrage over 100 year

As a selfish consumer, I LOVE these scooters & want the city to "figure it out" to make them viable ASAP. Shut up and take my money, ok? ;)

The GoBike is a joke. You have to pedal insanely hard just to go half the speed of a normal, cheap bike. The components are just awful, and the stations aren't that great either. As a user of both, the Scooter experience is 50x better.

While I'm giggling a bit at the pseudo-math, I have to agree with the sentiment of this post. Dockless E-Scooters, to me, just feel like the winner. They take up much less space on the sidewalk than the bikes.

What a nonsensical article. It's clearly written for those who want to find populist reasons to frame capital as the enemy, all while ignoring basic economics or arguments. #1: UBI is a dramatic potential restructuring of demand genera

I'm not seeing Facebook at all, personally. The UX of the entire site is different, from navigation to media. Are you saying the visual design is similar? IMO this is a clear improvement to the site's dated UX that held them back
