Considering this article is about the switch not being compliant, yes. Nintendo has quite a lot of experience making hardware, and they didn't get it right. Right now USB-c is a mess, and I'm not aware of any controllers on the ma

I think you may be over-romanticizing the value of outdoor work here. Let's take agriculture as an example of doing manual work outdoors. How is it more alienating to have a project held up by corporate inefficiency than by freak varia

Not to edge close to a Godwin here, but how is that materially different from a soldier 'just following orders'? If anything, the soldier's excuse is more valid, since it is far easier to quit a job than quit military service

I think you may be onto something there. Sure, by continuing the discount they may have lost some business, but it is also possible that there would have been no #boycottDelta, or that it would have been another case of temporary social med

Which could also mean an intelligence officer('s personal machine, who is known to be) working out of the agency's hq... It implies that the IP was from GRU HQ, but the only definite statement is that it is this specific officer,

The only thing I've seen that even possibly makes sense is that it was the officer's home/personal IP, not work. Which might also explain the opsec slip up, but until I see something more credible than an anonymous source (wh

Curious here, how does lack of pictures or first/last name have any bearing here? From what I understand, any of these reasons could also apply to reddit as well.

How does that explain WeChat? No, I think they quickly realized the power social media has to shape social consensus, which is what this whole scandal ultimately boils down to. They banned Facebook to eliminate competitors for their home gr

Fine for higher-level courses, but how exactly are intro courses supposed to make 'hello world' and the like personal enough that you can't cheat?

Isn't that the point of these courses anyway? Unless you have very, very good reasons, why would you ever write your own bubble sort professionally outside of niche cases? But having to implement different sorts by hand makes it much c

While a valid point, there are times when we need to recognize that emotional reactions are best ignored. If I get cut off in traffic, the initial emotional response might be to ram the other person's vehicle or some other violent act.
