This was a great read! I also love the fact, that this is an old-skool serve via the user's home (~learnest). So much nicer than "You have 2 more Medium articles free this month".

This is just what these displays are capable of. I guess, that also might be the reason, they took book covers from the 1940's. Vintage look is quite attractive, this way, but it would be worse with modern high-def imagery.

On Android, there is "SmartTubeNext" (or so), you may find it via "STN youtube". It just takes out all the crap from YouTube, but keeps all features (at least the ones I know).
