This. Business books like Rework are about sharing ideas from the authors. People who read it want to share it with other people they know, too, which is why a paper version is great - it's continuously share-able.

Whenever I see a resume with open source code, I always visit and try to read some of their code. I rarely ask them about it (there's little time), but it does inform which questions I want to ask in the interview and my overall impression

I think the styles are more similar than Ryan makes it out - both have control over their environments, but in different ways. At Zappos, they have standard half-height cubes and they control their environment by sticking things on the wall

Limiting how many jobs people can apply to on your website isn't going to stop people from applying to lots of places, it just means that they're not going to use your website that much. And people looking for a job aren't going to drop a l
