Ask your parents to explain cryptocurrency. It's not about wall clock time. It's about milestones.

Interesting concept, but as mentioned in the article, the severely limited list of destinations really limits the utility.

I don't have any watches with lights (mine are all mechanical; a few have glow in the dark features), so that's not something I ever did in the past. How is it different? I don't know how to describe it really. But as someone

I love my Apple Watch, but it's worse at telling time for me because the screen isn't always on. I can't just glance at it casually, I have to move my wrist in a very specific way to make it wake up.

I think that's a great point, and definitely hard for a huge company like P&G. But for a small company, it can be easier, because when your volumes are low enough, it's often very easy to directly see sales uplift in your top

I almost feel like there are two factions. I'm pretty similar to you. I have clicked on ads a handful of times, but it's very rare. However, I have worked in jobs where I had visibility into the metrics, and I have seen internet a

By the way, the California law does not ban texting. It bans ALL use of a cell phone unless it's in hands-free mode. "California’s distracted driving law prohibits all use of a handheld wireless device while driving, unless the mo

I don't entirely disagree. Screwing with the radio while driving can be distracting no matter what kind of radio you have. But on my current car, I control the radio with click wheels on the steering wheel and a small display right in

Yes, that's one of the biggest things I've always disliked about the Model S when I've been in them, but at least it's not the only way to do things.

Again, maybe it's just me, but I think touch matters because with physical dials I can find them by feel and manipulate them without looking away at all. I'm sure as you become more familiar with the touch screen, it gets easier,

Am I the only person in the world who thinks that having a touch screen as the primary interface in a car is a horrible idea? Why is it illegal to mess with our phones while driving but it's ok if it's a built-in touch screen?

The reason I use Redfin is because of their technology. Their site, apps, and (probably most importantly) alerts are massively better than what I've seen from any other brokerage. Sure, someone else could build the same thing, but thus

I defended Waze in this thread, but frankly it's absurd to me that someone would argue that a process which requires several taps on specific parts of the screen (like reporting a stopped car) is the same level of impact as other GPS a

I hate the interface, but I find that it does a better job of routing me around bad traffic than Google Maps does (even though it supposely takes Waze data into account), and MUCH better than Apple Maps. So I use it every day for my commute

Yeah, I had that bug too (or another one that caused similar behavior). Great fun. Edit: I realize my comments may sound a bit unfair. I don't want to come across as saying "they had a bug in their software, so they suck!" I

Another issue is that, at least in my experience, the upgrade experience can be a bit fraught. Especially if you're using packages. I've been using FreeBSD intermittently since somewhere around 1997 or 1998, so I'm not a comp

I feel like there must be something I'm missing here. Isn't providing health care the core purpose of a hospital? Why are they outsourcing that? Outsourcing might make sense for ancillary stuff (e.g. running the cafeteria), but I&
