Also at least at our local Kohl's, you have to walk ALL THE WAY through the store to get to the Amazon returns desk. It's upstairs, in the back corner. It is impossible to do an Amazon return at Kohl's without walking through

I considered it, but it seemed like Austin would be a difficult person to work with (even if "work with" is limited to developing software within his app).

Yes this makes sense. It's just frustrating for me as somone who doesn't have the time/money/risk tolernace for real flying, but would like to be able to "fly" as realistically as possible at home. I'm sur

Many years ago I was big into X-Plane. But it seems like so much of the development and community is focused on making the graphics as pretty as possible, instead of making the flying as realistic as possible. I'd easily take the trade

These printers are a bane of my wifi existence too. I live in a suburban neighborhood with overall very little 2.4GHz interference, but there are three HP printers in range which seem to absolutely BLAST their signals.

This rings true to me. I wouldn't go so far as to say I don't care. But there is so much more content than I actually have time to watch that I can easily fill my watching time with something I enjoy even out of the fairly limited

I don't know the numbers, but for my entire working life across several companies, my insurance has been through VSP, not EyeMed. So "almost certainly" seems like an overstatement.

I just wish that they would combine Waze and Google Maps. The Google Maps UI is SO MUCH NICER than Waze. It truly pains me to use Waze because it's so ugly. But at least in my area, it's much more effective at routing me around tr

It's not just unpaved roads. I also find that "private" roads (inside gated communities) around me are often extremely far off in terms of speed limit. There are private roads around here with speed limits of 45+ MPH that Goo

I carry very little cash, certainly not enough to be tipping people in cash on a regular basis. What usually happens is maybe 1-2 times a year my wife or I will get a few hundred dollars out of the ATM, split it up, and that will be enough

I used to have an ASA has my home firewall, but the problem was that its ethernet ports were 100 megabit, which meant that it eventually became the bottleneck in my internet connection. I ended up replacing it with a Ubiquiti router, which

I encourage you to look for a job that pays you better. I promise, based on direct personal experience, that you do not need to work in SV to do a lot better than that with that amount of experience.

In my very limited personal experience, it's not that hard to get a worker to come do a job on my house. It is EXTREMELY hard to get someone who actually does quality work and is reliable. You could argue that I'd get better and

I wish it were true pay-as-you-go rather than starting you in a sandbox and then jumping immediately to $150. Working on a small side project, $150/mo is a lot of money in the beginning, especially if I'm doing a relatively small

The GPA is an important caveat. I scored in the 99th percentile on the LSAT, and still couldn't get into any of the top tier schools I applied to because I slacked off too much in undergrad.
