Well perhaps not at night, but otherwise there’s always something to clean, something to fix, something to cook, take care of the yard.. heck I might need two robots ^^’

Yeah, but a robot will work 24/7, not 2h byweekly -_-

There’s nothing I want more than a robot that does house chores. That’s the real 10x multiplier for humans to do what they do best.

So, if I understand correctly, you are saying that many (actually most) Cauchy sequences converge to uncomputable numbers. I think I understand a bit more, though I still have an issue with defining such a Cauchy sequence, because either I

I can accept the second thing, but how do you mean the first one in a way that doesn’t fall back onto the second one? What is the way to “construct” reals that isn’t a program?

I find it hard to wrap my head around non computable numbers. How can I even “point to one” of them if I can’t express/describe it? And if I cannot communicate which number I’m referring to, does it really exist? In what way do they ex

My genetic data will be relevant even after I'm dead because my children and grandchildren share it with me. And it's a modern kind of data that didn't exist in 1925.

Woah how’s that even possible? How does the fluid pick up so much kinetic energy? I’m not saying they’re wrong, I’m just fascinated.

I get it, immutability is nice. But doesn’t it come with memory and runtime overheads for having to create and store new objects?

Somehow it doesn’t sit well with me the fact that it’s still quite a complicated shape. I accept that it’s the best one, but I would have expected a simpler shape to be the solution.

It's mentioned in the article that the highest energy ever recorded for a single particle was 320,000 PeV which is about 50 joules, i.e. the energy of a golf ball at 100 mph @_@

Tangent, but interesting: how do you get fair samples from a biased coin? 1. You take a string of biased samples like 001011100101 2. you split it in pairs 00 10 11 10 01 01 3. you keep only pairs with a zero and a one in them 10 10 01 01 4

What you say makes sense, but is there the possibility that because it’s compressed it can generalize more? In the spirit of bias/variance.
