Still waiting (to my knowledge) for even a single manufacturer to offer a unit with independently adjustable sides. Until then, people with strabismus are out of luck. (Which is ironic, since technological assists are the only way we could

I largely agree with the perspective of that video. Specifically thinking of the difference between EQ and WoW, I do think there's one objective difference though: downtime. It wasn't uncommon to spend minutes recovering from a fi

For an option with the fewest moving parts, Firebase + React (web and/or native). All JS, and minimal devops to worry about.

While this does seem a bit high, it’s worth bearing in mind two things. One, most other places price sales tax into the advertised total, which doesn’t happen in the US. For UK prices, that’s 20% right there. Two, to prevent constantly floa

I used Palm Pilots in college and got very proficient with Graffiti, to the extent that it became a pseudo-shorthand for me when taking pen-and-paper notes in class. Of course, I also had a Newton MP2000 (later upgraded to 2100) that I used

This has long confused me about energy companies. You're big in coal, or gas, or whatever, and see green energy as a competitive threat. Why not take some of those massive profits and treat it as lengthy and luxurious runway to leapfro

You’ll find that the vast majority of the country is on board. This approach won’t last forever. Once the population is deemed sufficiently vaccinated (which is still supply-constrained) we will transition to “living with it.” Until then, z
