I am working on a tool for testing web apps with a simple to use syntax/DSL aimed to reduce work for automated testing of applications, based on Playwright (Go). It has additional cool feature like documentation generation in which the

This is a cool project! Would be interesting if this could be used to help teach and learn linux to a group of students. No need to muck about with user accounts and one could add a proxy layer and map each username to a dynamic DNS entry t

I am working on a tool[1] to try to make working with playwright a bit more ergonomic and approachable. Sorry to shamelessly plug but I'd love feedback on if it is even a good idea/direction. Hadn't considered the Page Object

I've found that using Git libraries directly is usually slow and less ergonomic. I've got another tool (written in Go) here: https://github.com/zikani03/git-monorepo which uses a Git library and is a bit slow

Thanks for the heads up! I don't know how i missed pact.io - interesting that both are about testing. Will try to think of a different name :_)

I'm working on pact[0], a tool to enable developers and hopefully less technical users to interact with Playwright and perform actions and tests on web-based user interfaces and applications using either a YAML file or a simple DSL (in

Always excited to see Josh's projects - last time I played with uhaha (loved the name) and it was mind-opening to some extent. Pogocache also looks very interesting and good to see the benchmarks on ARM

This is well put. I once built a tool called [zefaker] (github.com/creditdatamw/zefaker) to test some data pipelines but never managed to get a good pattern or method for generating data that simulates actions or scenarios that di

Hello there, thanks! Hurl is definitely one of the more approachable Rust codebases I have looked at and worked with. The test suite is one of the best I've seen - so thorough! Definitely, one of my fav projects

Good to see this mentioned. We are considering running it for some things internally, along with Harbor. The fact that the resource footprint is advertised as small enough is compelling. What's your experience running it?

On the development side, I feel like I just don't have the "brain" for Rust even though I have built a couple of useful things with it and have also contributed to an open source project (checkout hurl.dev, great tool!) - I w

We have been using Vikunja for our team for about 2/3 years and it's good. It has it's quirks but generally works. What we haven't done well is keeping up to date with development as the version we installed did enough f

I've also got some mileage from live templates for repetitive code. However, at some point I built[0] an IntelliJ IDEA plugin to help me generate setters and field assignments that I felt live templates weren't a good solution for

Is this also available from the googlecloud APIs libraries? Would be neat to be able to create a Google Doc from markdown content, it's something we were going to look into for one of the things we are building.

Fantastic news. I've enjoyed using Zed on Mac for Go development, it just feels snappier than VSCode. I hope to try the Linux build over the weekend. I am also tempted to try out their gpui library, might just cure my Rust aversion.

I love this tool, and it's one of the tools I recommend to a lot of my fellow developers and emphasize the importance of RTFM. Thank you so much to the maintainers for keeping this going for so long! Love it and use it very often.
