What's funny is... my Bank does not allow me to use any special characters and for the investor accounts numerical only. They do not have 2FA either. CIBC Canada Addendum also several of my purchases were flagged as hacked purchases by

Originally I was being sarcastic, but aren't you also a stranger? We are all strangers. The fact that his response was gray doesn't make him more of a stranger than you not being gray. Perhaps they made an account to voice his opi

Fair point. I generally think edge cases are still a good indicator. How do you treat those not worthy than those who are. I bet they just hired someone else so did not bother following up.

Yeah I hate these sort of "protections". Twitter also does it. It's fine, a simple Tanpermonkey script is enough.

Okay, I was trying to not put my experience on this website. But here goes I did some in the first year of uni with a floor mate. Two sober. When I was on it. I got the feeling as if I was in a prison, and started feeling like I was being e

Who said I want to read them? Most people will not pay a subscription fee to read the article. So it does little use to that demographic. I am not implying they are not credible source of information. It's just that we will be restrict

This is what I call a 'Valuation bubble' :) They release a conceptual video, throw some jargon, have yet to release an MVP even, but have high valuation because it is very promising. I am not saying they are evil or they are doing

find/grep/awk/ag get me a long way to be honest. However, I think this is a cool project because it makes filtering of file attributes (such as size) so much easier. No need for splitting strings and using regex. Cheers.

possibly, but I am just contempt on updating. I don't do anything illegal on this computer. I use it for browsing and playing games on steam, I think I am pretty safe. You can really avoid like 90% of the shit by... * Not going on shad

I have Windows 10 Education version, completely legal. But I have been "restarting to apply the patch" for the past four days and it always reverts itself. I am stuck in a loop.. This is why I turned off updates.

Yeah, I am pretty sure all governments do this. Why would they release it if their goal is to get unrestricted access to the public. They don't want those holes patched, so to speak. I wonder how much of their efforts are deterred when

Something like this also happened at Carleton University, but they did not pay the ransom. I assume they just used backups. They have really good (and super nice) IT people.

I think Mindnapa are better for this. The information is associated. For example you will need maths for some fields. Table of contents would mean duplicating links. But... I also agree that everyone learns and parses information differentl

This is my biggest beef, thanks for pointing it out. All of this is great, but it adds to separation of market. In an idea l world, all of the 'big players' would sit together, and come up with a way to unify their services.
