Targeting another popular platform, Objective-C with the Apple libraries, makes a lot of sense to me . That, and C#/.NET (which is already a thing with clojure-clr) seem like the obvious candidates.

no trailing space is a convenient shorthand - print by itself prints with a newline (so it might make sense to have print() vs println()); print + comma omits the newline and waits for the next print statement, so that print 'hi&

I don't know - when I first heard the name, 'Safari' made sense to me after a moment of thinking about it. Netscape Navigator , Internet Explorer , and Safari - all named around the theme of discovery.
