So given the conversations on record and quoted in the article about certain treasurers deliberately doing the least effective actions and anticipating the "legal" right to claim a property, you're still going to claim that t

Don't downvote this, look up James Buchanan and his 'corporate freedom' school instead, and then come back and say they're wrong.

Look into WalMart's operations in Mexico, where they've bribed officials into deliberately overlooking protective legislation for historical areas, just so they could get visible placement of stores to catch tourists. Amongst many

Or you can use the Navigator app by someone else, that has a free option, nothing feeds to the Google monster, and behaves pretty much exactly like an old style GPS device with some modern additions. Good enough indeed.

I will admit I haven't gone researching for attitudes of people from the rest of China, and I'm rarely on any social media sites, so I haven't seen much except whats been posted in a couple of channels from a very few people

I used the word sparse deliberately: I have only seen two news reports involving mainland Chinese citizens visting Hong Kong and commenting on their observations. Both were surprised, almost shocked, that the rioting, damage to public and p

I think it's instructive to realize that mainland Chinese people are being fed state propaganda about "rioters" destroying HK and demanding independence, thus their opinions should be weighted lesser on the issue accordingly.

Maybe some of these companies see DoodleDocs and wonder if you'd be a bad fit for a CRUD type position? Like, you've already gone beyond a lot of those basic needs, so why would you "step down" to a CRUD job?

I would love to see the news story about Comcast having fewer remaining subscribers than the DSL provider... still wouldn't make them change their practices, I believe they are too far corrupted to ever 'heal', but it would b

Had a KSR-33 wired up to a Synertek single-board 6502 kit... never did get the paper tape working, but man was it weirdly cool to be typing on a 50 pound behemoth to put numbers in the 2kB memory of a 6 ounce PC board.

And here I thought reputation, value exchange, and being a good corporate citizen were what made a company worthwhile and respectable. Thanks for showing your position on the side of "money first people second, if at all".

No, but I have read stories of auto APIs that are as broken as "change the user ID at the end of the request string, and you can see the entire account details of any other registered user". That sort of incompetence makes me paus
