No, it's more like arguing a Miata will fit the same need as a GT3 at 1/20th the cost. Some people don't fit a Miata, but it's still a valid option for many. Though I am at a sub-clinical dose (not a microdose) I'm

I've been on Mounjaro and find it pretty inexpensive, but I'm using a high-dose pen for a low-dose injection. One 15mg pen is going to last me around 6 months at my current rate, so around 15 euros per week.

I have no clue, just relating my experience. As far as I know it’s not discussed amongst peers unless there’s a very strong bond.

I would have literally bought a mini if not for the daft screen and lack of button. Bought a Smart Fortwo instead, happy camper with all my tactile interfaces.

I have a good few friends doing research in the social sciences in Europe and any of them that doesn’t self-censor ‘forbidden’ conclusions risks taking irreperable career damage. Data is routinely scrubbed and analyses modified to hide reve

We agree, which makes me question your original point with the power tool somehow being different even more. Every automation gives more leverage to capital over labour. That's the history of technology. Downstream it makes this great

In that case I really don't understand how you conclude there's any difference between being on the bottom or the top of the tool. The bare reality is the same: Skilled labourers will be replaced by automation. Woodworking tools (

You know what they mean. Full self-driving was promised what, 10 years ago? Tesla Roadster? Sub-25K car? etc etc etc

I dislike Tesla/Elon but would prefer the reality where they innovate until their worth matches their current price. I suspect yours is more likely to happen.

Rather, lack of. Melatonin is over-the-counter, generic, badly understood by the people taking it and dosed according to personal preference which means marketing it is all abouy big numbers. Bigger number on package = more sales.

No, I have plenty of friends who are not making enough (and could be making double) but due to being risk-averse and relatively content stay in low-paid jobs. Only a crisis moves certain people from their comfort spot.

I find a lot of people work at a certain place for the social life, and the money comes second. Including some surprisingly high performers.

Get a better hourly wage. About an hour of my month pays for all of my entertainment and software subscriptions. Another couple of hours pay for a year of iPhone. Coffee? Another hour per month maybe? We are worlds apart in our arithmetic a

It's a lot easier to double-check, cross-reference, or test the validity of advice given by a gpt. It has no authority, no persuasion mechanisms, and its opinions are there in plain text ready to be picked apart. You can ask it for ref

Since I'm nitpicking let me point out that powerlifters train for strength. Power is an altogether different (though related to a degree) muscular/neurological characteristic. Power would be more closely related to olympic weightl

It’s worth noting that muscle is not all the same. If you’re just into bodybuilding then sure, proximity to failure is what matters. For athletics though, there still seems to be a big impact in the rep range you work in.

Heliotherapy is well-due for a resurgence. One of my favourite youtubers (conquer aging or die trying) has a great interview with a medical doctor about sunlight as a medical intervention. Well worth the watch: https://m.youtube.
