I respect their line of though, only because it is their own opinion. I know projects such as Orca and give real praise to all of them. But to me, leaving Twitter because Musk fired the accessibility team does not seem like the best argumen

Yes, I agree. However, this is the main execuse Canonical devs cite when asking why they wouldn’t provide a *.deb package. When one pushes more, they do not elaborate and roll back to the maintainability execuse.

I second this. I understand how hard it may be to maintain software these days, and that’s the whole point of snap, but the way it is implemented seems broken. It can simply break the whole system, it is like it uses one huge semaphore for

I understand you based your answer on OP's comment, but you should not assume everyone has a charger that is compatible with the newer iPhones. And the prices are totally different as well. There is a regulation in Brazil that determin

Numerical stability is when you do operations on the matrix while still keeping an eye on the overflow and underflow flags, all the way during the algorithm execution. This means regardless of how big your matrix is, or how big or small you

My concern is that there are not enough people who are qualified to determine if a fast algorithm can be used or not. It feels reckless to include less stable algorithms in a general purpose library when the vast majority of users are mainl

Do we need forward stability in the componentwise relative sense? This very much depends on the underlying real life application. If we ignore the question of accuracy and stability, then we just might endanger the people who depend on our

I totally understand the reason why it is made for read-only consumption. However, we live in a moment where storage is significant cheaper, and so is processing. There could have a compromise, though I do not see any indication of such. SQ

NumPy has lots of C calls, and the functionality has to be implemented entirely with the language features. What you are suggesting is outside the scope of the paper.
