   Fines like this only work if they're large enough to change behavior. $375M for a company Meta's size is more of an accounting entry than a deterrent.

   The gap between how this is described in the paper vs the blog post is pretty wide. Would be nice to see more accessible writing from research teams — not everyone reading is a ML engineer

   The lack of a well-maintained async HTTP client in Python's stdlib has been a pain point for a while. Makes sense someone eventually took it into their own hands
