Hard to tell. Since the prints were so cheap back then the individual blocks were used until they were worn down if they were popular, and then probably either cut down to be reused for a different carving or just tossed out. Identifying an

The copies of The Great Wave in collections around the world are not only different in color and tone. There are many reproductions of varying quality among them. David Bull, a woodblock print maker in Tokyo, made his own reproduction in 20

The use of "MM" is really confusing me. What is 1MM views? I can't help but parse it to a mega mega view, or one tera view, but that seems excessive.

I initially parsed it as five summers, each lasting 500 years, in a time span of 15 years. Logic then kicked in and "corrected" it to five summers, each as summer-y as 500 years worth of summers combined, in a time span of 15 year

I know haproxy itself supports that and have used those features with static configuration, but does the k8s ingress controller out of the box?

If I were to use it as a k8s ingress, how would I do OCSP stapling? nginx does that for you, but with haproxy you've always had to hack something together to add a .ocsp file (which has to exist at startup) and reload externally. I als

From my observations the Chinese signs are more a reaction to the hordes flocking into the country to buy hygiene products in bulk and also do a little sightseeing on the side.

Only needs to be public for the challenge though. We use split DNS with an external server that has an empty zone. Internal clients are limited to setting their respective _acme-challenge.subdomain TXT record and delete it afterwards.

More like giving the web facing application full access to the payment database vs having a separate internal service with a very limited API. A problem with the frontend does not always immediately compromise the database.

You need to stop thinking of it as an OS. It's just an easy/lazy way to grab all the dependencies your process may need. Here's a silly analogy: You're trying to containerize a simple football game. To run the game you n

Why not go big and move everyone into a dozen mega cities like Tokyo. Everything you can want is just one or two subway rides away, so you don't really need a car. Maybe add a touch of Copenhagen to add bike friendliness...
