I am aware I can't win, so I used the opportunity to delete my account and apps and just quit for good.

Air pollution is not on the same order of magnitude for the average electric vs internal combustion vehicle, though.

Deck is excellently built (have been abusing it for 8 months now) and you can order spare parts from ifixit: https://www.ifixit.com/Parts/Steam_Deck

I think this is the first time I've ever seen the greentext angle bracket and "globohomo" on hacker news in the wild, 4chan is definitely everywhere.

Both Motorola and Google's Pixel are better alternatives than iPhone IMO and neither will show you ads if you don't explicitely install an app that shows them.

Speaking as a vegan, I'll gladly try this so long as it's done on a separate griddle, but I really do not want a copy of the taste of meat.

Speaking as a vegan, I really don't want food that imitates the taste of meat and I will refuse to eat anything that's been prepared on the same griddle or using the same utensils as meat.

RAM uses power, 8GB of DDR3 was something like 3W and once you have 16GB in a personal computer, you simply don't need more for everyday use.

It was always there, just apt install unity? It even asks you which greeter to use and, unlike when Canonical was trying to monetize it, you don't have to remove the adware "lenses" such as Amazon.

I'll be certain to use whatever fork of K-9 is available rather than anything Mozilla. WHERE'S THE SAVE TO PDF OPTION on mobile Firefox?

If you want a better book on this topic, I can recommend "Sadly, Porn" by Edward Teach MD, also known as The Last Psychiatrist.

Around the time they changed monetization I started using the default Octane with the default everything. RL is actually an example of a great game where everything you can buy or unlock is cosmetic and you don't need any of it.

As a citizen of the EU I can say fu%k off, EU. The only way to make interoperable messaging I'd use is if the clients are not reading the messages, but only shuffling encrypted blobs around. I'll stick with Signal for messaging ot

Firefox mobile can't save a webpage anymore. They took away essential features and each new release I have to learn new ways to turn off their money making initiatives.

Is saving the webpage (as PDF or MHTML or ANY BLOODY FORMAT) on Android back? It's incredible that that functionality just disappeared a few years ago and Mozilla is apparently ignoring user feedback.

Moodle is actually great, IMO. You can customize the UI to your liking and integrate it with bigbluebutton for a complete solution that includes remote learning classrooms instances as need arises, with full recording of lectures.
