If you're getting health insurance through your employer, that's a pretty standard price (counting both your contribution and your employer's together). I'm probably going to be self employed for 2026 and a cheap-ish (no

We've got lots of heating districts around the world to use as examples. They only make sense in really dense areas. The thermal losses and expense of maintaining them make them economically impractical for most areas other than a few

It tells you up front what you would otherwise have to go line by line to find out. There's a similar argument to be made for using forEach/ map / reduce / filter instead of a for loop. Each of those iterative methods ha

It could return the given value if it doesn't throw, though, which would make using it with assignment trivial.

The only reason to use let is to indicate to the reader that you're going to be reassigning the variable to a new value at some point within the current scope. If you aren't going to be doing that, using const lets the reader know

These heating districts don't cover a very large area. It's impressive in its own right, but if you're using them as an example, it just shows that it only works at very specific scales.

Slightly tongue in cheek, but maybe there's just a divide in the market? I've been seeing more jobs advertised as "for people excited about using AI at work" or something to that effect. Maybe the market is bifurcating a

As a counter anecdote, I've yet to try a model where I break even. The output is so untrustworthy that I need to spend as much time coaching and fixing as if I'd just written it myself. When it does produce a working result faster

In OP's example, the <p> would be colored blue, because the * selector directly targets it, taking priority over the inherited value from the #alert parent element if the CSS had been normal assignment: #alert { color: red

The <p> tag is red because it is inside of #alert. Anything inside of #alert has the color variable set to red. Variables don't use specificity like CSS selectors. I prefer to create a few layers for variables; one for color name

Alas, my workshop didn't come with 240 already run, so that was an added expense to get my welder set up. An electric tea kettle that didn't take an hour to warm up would be very nice. My well pump runs on 120v, and when the motor
