So, you don't actually have to regard BG and GB as separate cases if you don't want to. People like to write the outcome space as ordered pairs BB, BG, GB, GG (ordered by age or whatever else), because this has the advantage that

I really like this idea, but there's one question that I always wonder how people doing this handle. If your kids are not yet school age, and you plan to send them to school rather than home-school when the time comes: what's your

The headline's use of the word "argument" rather implies that he did think he had a reason backed up by rational thought. Like GP, I'm hoping someone with the time and inclination will summarise that argument for us.

I haven't previously come across the idea of trying to make wordless proofs. I guess this is the mathematical equivalent of code golf: a clever game for insiders to play, but basically the opposite of good practice from a readability

Whether this is the norm for a large population of employers is a statistical question that you cannot "personally witness" even in principle. We desperately need a better way than anecdata to look at this.

This sounds like a reasonable point to me, and I'm not sure why this and your other post in this thread are being down-voted. Elon Musk might well be OK with Tesla cratering, provided he gets to make an electric-car-shaped dent in th

I think you know that's not a reasonable thing to ask for a "proof" for. On the other hand, anything which someone claims to have proved is a reasonable thing to expect a proof for. I'm not the one throwing clickbait hea

"Legal standing" isn't quite the right phrase. I think you're saying the board does in fact have a legal duty to prioritize profit above all else? If so, are you sure, and do you have sources? wool_gather said that &qu
