You have to see this video, dedicated to Albert Hoffman (nominated for Academy Award in 1998): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xqcjNUqIAw YouTube keeps deleting it, so in case link goes bad, just search for this: http://en.wikipedia.org/

I'm sorry, but this is just stupid. They would be much better off working with (good) recruiters. $12K is in the ballpark of what good recruiters charge anyway...

I love Linux's elegance and power for development, but can't use it as a "regular computer" for three reasons: 1) The GUI is terrifyingly ugly, in every single distro I've seen. Ubuntu is trying, but they're still way behind. If I only ever

The most useful thing for me out of that list is "Shift + ?" shortcut. For too long I had to open another tab, open Google, and type in 'Gmail shortcuts'...

The real question should be which one is contributing the majority of your income. When I worked for "the man" I had numerous side projects (none of them went anywhere), and proudly called myself an entrepreneur. Now that I have my company

I'm Russian-American and visit Russia every few years or so. The first time I went back, I remember getting on the Aeroflot plane, and finding out a blanket was missing (on an 8 hour flight, a necessity). I called the stewardess over and sa

If it wasn't for that about.html, I would've thought it was named after a Baldur's Gate II character, and was prepared to make a joke about sucking blood..

I guess I don't understand how anti-trust laws work. Didn't they break up "Ma Bell" a few years ago specifically to prevent monopolies? And since then, AT&T bought Cingular, now T-Mobile, and they pretty much have a monopoly on GSM, if
