Definitely. I've used iTunes Sync Library and iTunes Match since the day they were released by Apple. Never heard of Lala until today.

I don't think they quite address the same thing. `guard` isn't just an `if` statement that looks for the negative of a Boolean; it also forces handing control flow out of scope in a consistent way — you cannot write a `guard` st

The beta defence is so weird. They have a whole year from release to release. System Settings feels so buggy and poorly-designed, you have to wonder if development started five minutes before WWDC. I hate to speak ill of developers' ha

`guard` has its time and place, which is to refactor pyramids of doom away. The number of nested `if let` statements I've seen, and written, is upsetting.

I’m interested in this. What’s the developer experience like? Is there an LSP server to be able to use with VSCode?

You can. I'm doing it right now. They don't like to stretch over the menu bar (i.e. top screen has no menu bar, bottom screen does, trying to stretch window from top to bottom) but they happily stretch left to right — or top to bo

It's one of those issues that nobody who's actually owned the bloody thing ever worries about. A couple minutes charge, it's ready. Then if you need more juice, charge it up again overnight or a lunch break. Same as the fir

The graphics shouldn't be an issue. macOS supports Vulkan via Metal, using MoltenVK. Plenty of other emulators already support Vulkan on macOS that way.

Not a fan of Rectangle, much prefer Tiles. Same thing, but the snap rectangles are much easier to see. I'm not sure I agree that window management in macOS is the worst, though. Just different. If you're used to Windows-style mana
