I agree. In USA you are looking at 34,000 deaths a year on the roads. I'm a diver (not caves though) but my closest shaves have been while commuting! Cycling to work is probably more dangerous than cave diving.

I'm not so sure. I think when people figure out how much money they are going to save by switching to an EV you could see a rapid uptake.

Sure, but it's a good step forward to move to an EV. Agreed that people also need to give up their car where they can, or cut down on use, and wider availability of ride hailing will help. By the way, I was recently in Manila and ride

You are the exception rather than the rule though. Most people don't lug around heavy kit. I don't think anyone is saying there won't be special cases. For most of us EVs or ride hailing would make a lot more sense. Personall

Yes, I was in the same boat. However, don't do what I did I stay in the industry for too long, at least on a full-time basis. Leaving that unfulfilling work was the best thing I ever did.

I had a similar experience. I've had a few different jobs but found them all basically unfulfilling in the end. I cut down my monthly expenses drastically and now only work a maximum of three months per year - I do my old job on a co
