Surprisingly, they didn't provide a comparison to Sonnet 3.7 or Gemini Pro 2.5—probably because, while both are impressive, they're only slightly better by comparison. Lets see what the pricing looks like.

Let's assume a Russian asset somehow becomes President of the USA. What would he have done? How would he weaken the USA and strengthen Russia? At this point, I don't see a difference between Trump + GOP (leaders) and actual traito

They missed a big opportunity by not offering eu-hosted versions. Thats a big thing for complience. All LLM-providers reserve the right to save (up to 30days) and inspect/check prompts for their own complience. However, this means that

Good that they work on it. And the efforts to refactor foundation into smaller modules go in the same direction. I continue to root for them but they need so many improvments to be a realistic alternative to python/typescript/go&#

If they'd drastically improved their tooling then yes. But sadly it's not that easy to create a statically liked binary in swift. The last time i did it it also included the whole runtime, and the resulting "hello world"

Writing custom iterators always looked bad and overly complicated. If it's not essentials I'd rather not allow code like this in my codebase and use some other solution that is more readable.

You might want to research the topic of strikes & unions. The timple truth is that it's a give and take. If the demands would be too extreme the NYT would go bankrupt and the workers lose out on their job. Thus, it's in their

You can also update a AWS Lambda in a few seconds if you use the aws sdk. Or in a few more seconds if you use pulumi or terraform. It's a problem entirely related to how CloudFormation works in detecting changes.

By now there seem to exist many different llms that perform almost as good as OpenAI’s gpt 3.5. But what is the sota of adopting llms for the use with custom or „live“ data? I know OpenAI has function calling, and a vector db like pinecone

These pedantic “when I saw X instead of Y I assumed Z” are the most annoying comments on this website. “From scratch” might be non-specific, but a fine phrasing in this case.

Such a shame. Swift has many beautiful language features. I give swift a try every once in a while. Problems of my last attempt: - The Swift REPL (lldb to be precise) depends on libpython-dev (v3.8). WSL (ubuntu 22.04) comes with 2.7 and 3.
