Pretty sure I signed up on the day it launched because I remember reading the TC story:) Where do you see the sign up date? I either didn't tweet for a year or deleted my tweets at some point or held another account(unlikely since I don't t

An experienced Twitter user would know to add a “.” at the beginning of his message so that his followers would see it. Signed up for twitter on the day it launched(I think) and did not know that. Twitter is a painful product to use. It i

The problem with core-twitter limitation is that twitter's own product sucks and has basic features missing or implemented very poorly...years after launch. This is just shitty all around. Sometimes I wish I could buy 1,000 twitter tokens

Boy I can't wait for the day when we look at this screenshot and chuckle that it was even needed. My problem with Siri and others is that if I have to look at the screen after every command, it kills away a huge chunk of the benefit. If S

We're probably just fighting over semantics. What you call opportunity sounds more like a proven idea versus your typical idea that needs proving. Take the many instances when we say something like: "I have an idea: we could try selling b

What you refer to as market opportunity is also commonly considered to be an idea. For example, lets say you find a group of folks willing to pay $1,000 for widgets that cost pennies because you discovered that (a) they don't know about the

That is keeping with google's newly found traditions. For example, the ajax-ing of search has mostly broken the back key among others. Shit Case 1: sometimes you do a search, find a new phrase and begin typing it only to see the phrase disa

Native column support will probably satisfy 90% of my objections. Until then, css seems like another hack(perhaps a better one) for a previous hack.

So I am trying extremely hard to convince myself that these css grids are much better than html tables. Yet, when I see projects like these that make the act of making two columns of arbitrary widths such a big deal, I find it hard to convi

I am in favor of any label that replaces "NoSQL" with something else. NoSQL always rubbed me the wrong way. Besides not being a huge fan of the "No", it really says nothing about what it is (if it isn't SQL).

As much as you'd like to say that is not targeted, most people would agree your example qualifies as targeted advertising. More importantly, the conversion numbers agree. Retargeting is known to get 3-5x more clicks than non-re-targeted ads
