Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciated it. Is there anything in particular that you would suggest to add to the landing page to clarify it? I was hoping the graphics would give users a basic idea on how exactly it worked. I would lik

Interesting, I am not familiar with the job situation in France so I was basing the sentence on this quote from the article "Second, it has often been blamed for providing an incentive to give up looking for a job". It sounds like

There may not be post scarcity as there will always people the desire more and thus commerce will exist. However that doesn't necessarily means that everyone needs to contribute to that economy. If we have developed the technology to a

Another things I noticed is how it pointed out how France's system of basic income gave people less incentive to work and thus contributed to 10% unemployment. Isn't that also another reason many people advocate for basic income s

I think it's clear why you joined YC as it can be very beneficial to any company. The comment is questioning whether YC still remains to be a company focusing on the seed stage of investment. Nowadays it appears that a lot companies th

Yep, implementation is fairly simple. I find the wikipedia article to be hard to follow so I'll give an example here to simplify it. Let's say the applications you want to compare have an elo of 1200 and 1600 respectively. Let

Yea, a point system would work decently, but as you mentioned there is the problem where certain reviewers give higher and lower ratings than one another. With a large enough sample size you should still get fairly accurate ratings. A 1 vs

To ensure each application gets the same amount of views (with the exception of the top ranked and bottom ranked applications) you can pick the next highest/lowest and it will work out fine. My concern with this implementation was that

I actually already wrote this as a reply to another comment, but I think it merits a comment of its own. The best way to do the scoring for the applications is to actually make it into somewhat of a game. Each application should be given a

Yea, expanding on this the best way to get the best results is to actually give each post an elo score. Then when a user goes to look at two applications they can vote on which application they think is better and award / subtract elo

This is a little unfair, a lot of these really aren't too unreasonable if you are unfamiliar with China. $730 for 3 Chinese Visas with rushed service actually isn't really overpriced, in fact it's about the price I would expe

I don't remember exactly where, but I do recall someone at YC saying that due to the fact they invest in such a large amount of companies there is bound to be some overlap. I believe they probably try their best to be impartial and try

They do address it, they lie by asserting that every apps was viewed twice when it's clear that was not the case unless there are dozens of developers lying about something random which I'm pretty sure isn't the case.

Would you care to release any of the applications you've submitted? I would be curious to see if it's really a quality application that YC overlooked or if there are other reasons you were not accepted.
