It would seem that if you're modifying the cabinet to use a different type of monitor, you could also modify the gun. Is there some kind of light gun-like technology that does work on LCDs?

I don't use Snap products, but from my totally uninformed, unengaged vantage point it seems to me that Snap is valuable because they present a different set of values to their users then Facebook, Google, etc. Their first product wante

Note: thanks for clarifying, lovealmond. "Have to" be represented sounds like it's a chore. There are many ways that people can be diverse, I wouldn't see the need to "stop". But if I had to think of a list I g

By "live" is the intention that the program will recompile without losing the state of the running app? I remember seeing a cool Elm demo of that, but it seems like Ellie requires recompilation.

The US could even have a higher skill level on average(1), and still have way fewer skilled developers. As Jesse Eisenberg asks in The Social Network, "Did you know there are more people with genius IQ’s living in China than there are

I really hope web concepts move gracefully into VR. I suppose "immersive location" is just like a URL and full-VR experience is just another Content-Type.

So much of the promise-based code I see looks almost the same as it would with plain callbacks, just with the callbacks plopped into .then(). Am I missing something? How do promises make for more reusable functions?

I'd be very interested in a tool for diffing that gave some broad overview of how things have moved around. Otherwise, the kind of refactoring where you break things apart just creates a pull request that's harder to get oriented

Seems like this is one of the many things that IPFS would be great for. In practice, I'm curious if the user base is wide enough to be as durable as a real archive. (Although I guess if a few people commit to pinning* the research it

Also, when you've got something that's the same in two places it's hard to tell if it's really the same concept or just a "rhyme" that might later evolve into two distinct things.
