Now that's a hyperbolic title. I guess, "Google does not include enough women, minorities in doodles, but is showing improvement recently" wouldn't get headlines. This is an activist group using a popular target to gain

Adam Curtis is a prime example of what he is complaining about. Sure, he gives you things to think about, but he is fast and loose with said facts, and uses quick cuts, stock footage, and emotional music to try and sway opinion.

I've seen stuff like this on both sides. It's what happens when one's desire for change and despair at trying to get the vulgar masses to the self evident "right" thing drives them to misanthropy. It's a misant

I've been looking at the Asus Transformer t100 for just this reason. If it only had 4 gigs of RAM instead of 2, I'd have jumped on it.

Introspection is a start, but I've seen years of conscious raising without the necessary systemic action to change things.

Meh, this is just another diatribe that makes all sexism and racism as sin: a pernicious character flaw that can never be blotted out, but must be constantly atoned for. Ditch the hairshirts, they don't suit you. This is particularly s

We even have developers moving from IOS to the 3ds because of the better margins. http://gamerthumb.com/2013/08/01/mobile-dev-abandons-overcro... Why would Nintendo go to being lost in the crowd like that. I

The issue is that they have to have more data than rough demographics. They could take the likes a person has, break them down in rough categories and do something like males 18-35 who like heavy metal and extreme sports. Then they'd get ad

This also might be in the time where computers would normally take up an entire room, and cost insane amounts of money. No one really saw the miniaturization of the transistor as having the effect it did on computers. It's why a bunch of no

Minor quibble with the article. Handbrake is not illegal. It does not break encryption, it merely transcodes. It, by design, does not come with a copy of libdvdcss, and you have to download it through other means. It will also, on a mac, go
