Apple always makes incredibly beautiful internal designs - for themselves, not the users.

Windows 7 is the last version made by Microsoft as a software company. Starting from Windows 8, Microsoft became a cloud company, pushing users all these craps.

Starting from Windows 8, Microsoft started to bully consumers. Look at all the "cloud" contents, "tips", telemetry, Microsoft Accounts and advertisements built in Windows. They are for consumer editions only (Home and Pr

Try FreeRangeCloud in Vancouver. They offer IX VPS that allows you to connect to Unmetered Exchange, OPTiX and EVIX. HE is providing free IPv6 transits at Unmetered Exchange, so you can just email them to setup.

I also use WireGuard to connect my home router to a VPS to get my home connected to my network. However, VPNs highly depend on the availability of your residential ISP, the speed and stability are not desirable, especially when I run some s

I got my first ASN in April, 2021 from a LIR. It was an amazing experience. If you live in the west part of North America like me, you can get a IX VPS at FreeRangeCloud (disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with them). You can connect to Un

Good news for learning as well. I had never seen an open source EC firmware before, and I'm curious about what's inside that.

No. DRM is meant to protect copyrights, but Telegram's intend was to protect private messages from being forwarded to the public, which has nothing to do with copyrights.

THIS IS COMPLETELY MISLEADING. Telegram just provides group administrators with an option of preventing bad members from secretly forwarding messages to other chats, or to save them locally. It has nothing to do with digital rights, nor DRM

This is misleading. The new privacy protection features in Telegram are not DRM at all. They are just to prevent users from forwarding information outside of private chats or saving them, not related to copyrights at all (which is what DRM

I guess Caret Browsing is a EdgeHTML thing and in fact it should not show up in UWP applications. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Same here. For me, Windows 7 is consistent in design, efficient (in both performance and user experience) and pure. * Inconsistent design: Starting from Windows 8, Microsoft switched to the Metro design. In Windows 10 Microsoft changed to F

I remembered the time when I was a kid, I was siting in my mom's office, in front of a Windows XP box and browsing through all different screensavers, themes, start button styles, etc. Good memories.
