I had been using LibreOffice for a year and found that it is extremely buggy. Scrolling starts lagging as long as you have lots of commends on the page. If track changes is turned on, sometimes spaces are inserted in the wrong place. Sometimes it crashes during editing (although it recovered my documents), and such. It can do some basic editing, but is far less complete compared to MS Office. Anyways, its PDF editor is great.
