If there’s any company capable of raising the overton window of tech pricing it’s apple. The price of AirPods Max seemed like a joke when it came out, but I see them everywhere.

I think there’s one more factor which is that, by and large, hyperscaling has been proven ineffective for most companies. Sure, Uber got away with it, but nearly every company who goes public and triples their headcount in a year finds them

I disagree. Probably not much of their customer base cares, but I think lots of really smart researchers think a lot about these things. openAI doesn’t want them to turn elsewhere.

Wacom is a totally separate device from a laptop, and can be positioned so that you can comfortably write/draw while looking straight on at your screen.

Small city (~70k). I’ve also ordered to some of my friends/families houses who live in suburbs and large cities. The only time I ever didn’t have issues is when I lived in NYC and ordered to Amazon lockers

I think you’re making gps point. No customer wants or expects spam crap in the everything store. The everything store doesn’t literally need to sell “everything”.

I’m shocked that people are having good experiences with Amazon delivery in 2023. For me, 2-day delivery means it’ll get here in a week or 2. And forget about customer service that can actually solve my issue. I want whatever program you’re

Im referring to the 2nd gen, never really saw the first gen until now but the charging method now is quite nice. First gen still is no worse than first-gen Magic Mouse, which launched under jobs though. Which is my main point, I don’t think

I think it’ll happen soon. If it doesn’t happen soon with the increasing numbers of unions and labor strikes, it’ll happen when boomers die off and the voting demographic shifts left dramatically.

The question is what do we do about it? It sounds like you’re suggesting we can vote our issues away, but the voting and primary system is also corrupt. The only way forward is to leverage our economic power (by forming unions or organizing

The thing that is unique to the US is the level of corruption. Politicians are 100% beholden to corporate interests and nothing else. America’s dominance is entirely reliant on industry, so nothing can be done to upset the big corps.

I generally vote Democrat, but there is no American political party putting serious support toward a sensible healthcare system.
