From that perspective, o1-mini seems to perform the best. But only as long as enabling web browsing makes up for lack of base factuality.

This eval’s goal is a bit unclear to me, especially given the example questions. They’re very trivia/minutiae like asking about sports goals for example, which is their stated desire to test factual knowledge. But will this ever be pos

I own almost every Apple ecosystem device, but I definitely wouldn’t call their mobile device RAM capacity as sufficient. It physically hurts me when my iPad Pro M2 and iPhone 16 Pro Max (earlier 15,14,13,12,11) start to swap out live apps

I learned yesterday that all M-chip Macs with enough RAM are getting Apple Intelligence? This basically proves that Apple shot themselves in the foot for AI on mobile by artificially restricting RAM for so long! Heck, even the Neural Engine

> the new iMac is up to 1.7x faster than iMac with M1 This seems like a much lower than expected speed bump for M1 to M4? Would’ve been nice to see something more for something designed to be non-upgradeable.

So your claim is that there’s no other open source fully decentralized exchange in the world, despite that being the goal and claim of innumerable crypto enthusiasts like yourself? And it’s all because of 3-letter-agencies, in a domain lite

Could you link to a paper or working POC that shows how this “turtles all the way down“ solution works?

How does the next machine/LLM know what’s valid or not? I don’t really understand the idea behind layers of hallucinating LLMs.

What do you mean? I’ve never heard of a bank force you to login with a PlayStation or Xbox, but they do often force you to use the iOS or android apps for various functionality.

Could you explain the security problem you foresee? The Gmail app already has received an email which has the OTP in it. Why can’t it provide that to your keyboard? What’s the vulnerability here?

You don’t need to invent a “random apps” strawman. Apple already restricts which apps can be used as default mail/browser, just allow them access to the same APIs. Why not at least Gmail, Chrome, and gBoard? Millions of “non power user

The problem is not that I can’t use alternative apps - it’s that they don’t have access to various important system level features. Some examples: Only Messages and Mail can provide OTPs, again only when using the system keyboard. When swip

Using uv (IME) should be a drop-in replacement for almost all of your python packaging needs. I highly recommend giving it a shot - it’s saved me measurable time in just a few months.
