Not sure where you are, but in the Bay Area people are generally open to meet and talk. Over the years numerous people have given their time to me, and I have paid forward. Consulting rates/relationships only come into picture if there

Is there a cheaper/starter version, can still use Jetson nano but the rest of the BOM is more starter friendly :)

I had even posted a Ask HN: if people had experienced issues with Claude Code since for me it's slowed down substantially, it'll frequently just pause and take much longer. I have a Claude Max 5X plan. I've been running ccusa

I’ve been running pihole for 10-15 years, don’t even remember. Will take a look at Technitium. Looks like they have a Mac build, so I can just try it before attempting to replace pihole. Looking online, seems some people run both, not sure

Except it likes to put itself as the co-author in every commit message. Even asking it repeatedly and putting not to do so in Claude.md has no effect. So I have to keep deleting that manually :)

Wouldn't it be better, if there's an easy way, to just feed such bots shit data instead of blocking them. I know it's easier to block and saves compute and bandwidth, but perhaps feeding them shit data at scale would be a muc

I made insane progress with CC over last several weeks, but lately have noticed progress stalling. I’m in the middle of some refactoring/bug fixing/optimization but it’s constantly running into issues, making half baked changes, n

I think the biggest risk in having an actual one-person billion dollar company is the Bus Factor [0] Billion dollar valuation depends on investors, investors will never pay that valuation due the inherent risk in a one-person company. They’

Yeah, it's really a stupid name that has stuck because of who tweeted it. I really respect Karpathy, but in this particular case he did a disservice.

Yeah, $10B revenue is insane. I interpreted the parent as saying $10B valuation.

> Yeah we all know Claude Code isn’t going to generate a $10 billion SaaS with a team of 10 people… Not trying to argue, since I don’t have counter evidence, but how can you be so sure?

I had Rotring 600 pencil - absolutely loved it, best I’ve ever used. But, its tip is very fragile so after it bent I got a Pentel Orenz Nero , it’s close enough, has retractable tip and lead auto advances. It has become my current favorite.

I’ve thought about that but always forget, good to know it helps. I wish there were a way to persist in-memory context in a file automatically, say on each compact or git commit. Yesterday CC crashed and restarting it and feeding it all the

Curious does anyone know of a app/tool that can ingest a dump of your medical records, across platforms and EHR/EMRs and providers, and show it to you? Ideally this would be local, or self-hostable, and FOSS, but am still curious

Maybe I'm looking at it very literally, but the above simply mentions "safe-by-design AI systems", there is no mention of the target being general intelligence .
