I think he's talking about the nightly builds from pentadactyl ( http://5digits.org/nightlies ), considering the version on mozilla's website broke ages ago.

Agreed, I'm get the idea Valve doesn't actually care much about linux. For example, in their presentation highlighting some stuff about porting games from win to linux, every screenshot was made in windows

Not only are there plenty of applications that already do this, you could also develop a firefox plugin for it. Why on Earth would you want it in the browser core?
