> Russian mafia is living in billion dollar mansions all around EU in the open, with full knowledge of EU 3 letter services. Those people hide their assets in swiss banks, along with dictators and corrupt politicians.

Not sure why you are getting downvoted. The government of cyprus did seize bank deposits during the 2013 crisis. In some european countries i spoke to people who worried the same will have happened during the onset of covid and then the war

I love this type of projects and the people that spend time on them are simply amazing. I plan filling my home and garden with micro greens. Would be really cool if i could ever achieve what this retiree has. I think basic plant growing and

Rental income. Liquidated all assets though. But that was by far the mist stable source of passive income. Minuscule maintenance cost and effort.

Ask Austrian timber firms. They’ve been deforesting Romania’s and Ukraine’s (and by extension Europe’s) forests for decades. Often illegally: https://www.occrp.org/en/investigations/eastern-europes-bigg...

a silly law if you ask me. pressuring people driving in front is extremely dangerous. it’s already clear that there is an intention to overtake since you are driving on the outermost lane, no need to be rude and agressive.

Germany sure needs to considering policing the autobahn better. The number of drivers tailgating and flashing is atrocious. I dont understand how such a cool road system has become so aggressive.

It was precisely the opposite that started this war - the inhumanity of some leaders and the people that support it.

Imagine if during the cold war we'd have had people like you commenting this way out in the public. Not only would it have been a failure of intelligence but the venue would be shut down.

The biggest issue with php is the developers. Many of whom are totally oblivious to engineering practices and just reinvent the wheel. 1 in 5 still debate setter and getters while the rest still argue over using spaces over tabs. All in all

Depends on how much people enjoy micro dosing. Also depends on the language and complexity of your work. If all you do is build binary trees and reinvent the wheel then yes your job is over.

One thing is clear. If you have kids and advice them to go into software engineering then you are a bad parent.

A good memory indeed. Most of the leet code stuff is something i studied in highschool. Since then, everything of that sort was an import from a library followed by a function call. I forgot all of it, and have never had a need to do it aga

Well it would appear that leet code is easily replaceable. Not even sure why people would get paid to rewrite algorithms that can easily be imported from existing libraries. But actual development will take a while to be replaced. A develop

“Again, a bold move that doesn’t quite walk the line of honesty.” In a world of googles facebooks and amazons calling this guy dishonest is…dishonest in itself. As others have said he could have simply created a new mirc or just abandon it.

They really want to end contracting in the uk. At this stage its becoming less and less worth being a software engineer. If ai wont kill this type of career then taxes will.
