Funny. I'm 18, college freshman, and have been facebookless since May. I got my account when I was 15, so I had two and a half years of addiction to fight. My experience without a facebook? I get the exact same experience as everybody else

Freshman undergrad. So, I'm young. I've been around computers my entire life. When my father was in college (in the 70s, he's an old fart), he majored in EE/CS (or rather, EE / Math with focus in CS, because CS didn't exist as a separate ma

I have a stack of print-outs of xkcd's tech support cheat-sheet [1], that I give to the person. On some occasions, they actually have an interesting problem, but, the other 99% of the time, I just save my time by handing them the cheat shee

In my experience, windows doesn't apply dvorak universally when I try to set it to. It's much more productive on my end to just bring my own computer.

My suggestions: figure out a way to integrate it with xcode. The lack of git support is the main reason I still use vim for all of my non-cocoa development. If this is already done, then congrats, I'm one of your early adopters. Edit: reali

well, the nexus one is still being sold online as a dev phone. You can get it for about $500 or so. If you want a dev phone, but cheaper, the dev phones 1 and 2 are still available online.

I love how it's talking about china being #2, with a $1.33 trillion gdp, then it drops US's $14 trillion gdp, as if it's an easy to achieve milestone. I have no fears that china will outpace the US, for a number of reasons.
