   Concept cars are never meant for mass production. They're PR devices intended to show off new technologies and designs. I bet you could find a TON of software/startup analogs using the same logic.

   I think we're seeing a more intense backlash because the core Snapchat product doesn't exist in a vacuum anymore. Instagram has crafted a superior UX for the same use case(s). My gut says that the redesign is primarily a reaction
