This app is a pretty cool idea, and I'm sure its users love it. I wish open source software developers understood that if an app's UI is so unintuitive that it takes days worth of dedicated learning to figure out how to use it, it

This is a really interesting look at an obviously well thought out interview process. If anyone at GitHub is reading this, I have a question: you mention that submissions will be graded with automated tests and a rubric. Are these visible t

I very rarely get itchy after taking a shower. It seems to be related to the level of humidity in the air wherever I am, and also time of day. It's very weird, and I can't imagine how annoying it would be to have that happen every

This is how Factorio feels to me. I love the game. But I can only handle it during long periods away from work, otherwise it leads me toward feeling burnt out.

I don't understand how normies with JavaScript enabled manage to do anything on the internet these days. Seems content publishers have thrown usability out the window in favor of spammy tracking and manipulative marketing.

I found this article to be convincing in-favor of 5G. I think the real concerns about 5G are how it can be abused by providers and governments to spy on people, none of which was mentioned in this article.

This reads to me like pure fiction. Maybe not far-fetched, but very little substantive info. Does anyone have a link to anything more in depth about either the strategy likely to be involved, the anticipated consequences, or the post-nuclea

Not the commenter you were replying to, but Biology of Desire by Marc Lewis was a good one. There was also a lot of good info in The Sober Truth by Lance Dodes, but it's more of a rebuttal against 12 step programs.

There must be more details to this than what is explained on the page. Why Imageshack? Why old images? Who was behind this? What does it achieve to have old images show the flag? Is there a target audience?

This is great, in theory. But I spent an entire day this week trying to verify my identity so I could log into the IRS website. The usability is that awful for technical people without disabilities. So I'm not optimistic.

This looks like a fun idea. I'm curious, is GPT3 used to generate the commands, or only to parse the input? I'd personally be very wary to use any GPT3 generated command since there's no guarantee that it wouldn't be des

My question, as I know very little of Japanese folklore, was whether this is more like the Easter bunny (just a game) or the second coming of Christ (something people actually build their lives around).
