Not sure if I want a OLED monitor with current OLED technology for everyday use. All current OLED phone displays will have (slight) burn in after 1-2 years and I am pretty sure the same would happen on a monitor which you use daily for 8-10

Someone should grab the 100 most used packages which contain less than 30 lines of code, merge it into one package and call it 'npm standard library'.

The problem is that this guy did not select the title for HN but for his own personal/company blog. If you visit his blog then his title makes completely sense in this context but it loses its meaning in all other contexts.

I use stock bash / Konsole and I am really missing a good text reflow when changing the size of the window. If some command prints a line which gets wrapped because it is too long then I wish I could un-wrap it by making the terminal w

Assume a site has two accounts "user122" and "user123". When a user logs in with "user122" and a password and it does not work: What happened? Did the user mistype the password or the username?

I said it before and I will say it again: We need a non-profit, simple, and universally supported small-payment system which enables a user to easily donate 1-5$ to a random website without relying on Paypal or creditcards. Flattr was a goo

A question to the experts: Is it possible with current technology to send a probe after it? Let's say we decide today to do it and then spend the next 1-2 years to build a probe: would we still be able to catch up to it?
